For members who have committed to taking a plot at the Garden, there is a requirement that they undertake at least two workshops so that they have a demonstrated understanding of organic or sustainable gardening principles and practices.

The following are workshops that we recommend:

1. City East Community College is holding a Composting and Worm farming Workshop on Sat 14 Apr 2018 2pm - 4:30pm at Paddington Community Garden. Follow the link for more information- FREE https://www.cityeastcc.com.au/course/cowf

2. The Centre for Continuing Education has 6hr Organic Gardening courses. The next two are at 10am Sat 21 April and Sat 3 June at a cost of $166. Follow the link below for more information https://cce.sydney.edu.au/course/OGBP

3. Randwick City Council holds Organic Gardening and Permaculture courses during the year-FREE. Join their link to be informed of these courses when they come up. http://www.randwick.nsw.gov.au/environment-and-sustainability/environmental-whats-on/workshops-and-courses

4. The Cooper Park Community Garden will organise workshops from time to time with Woollahra Council staff and guest speakers. We will notify you of these as they arise.
